Be forwarned....lots of photos
Come on in....
I might as well show you around....yes? I'll keep words to a minimum and just let you wander
Melly has her favorite spot in the sun already pretty settled...
the suspended wall of cabinets that could not be more perfect and frees up the 8 ft of counter as workspace, they are hung by steel thread that runs down the inside of the shelves....Dwell, are you checking this out?
room for all my stuff, the not so pretty is stashed in the closed cabinets.
lights that make pretty pools....
my great find....this old metal kitchen cabinet, already covered...refrigerator style, with cards and photos
each door has little spice racks built inside that hold this and that
finally a place for my Fillmore postcards
my real job cubicle
it's pretty perfect! light, spacious...the garden will be sprouting up outside the windows soon, the wind-chimes are already playing my background music....Mangolicious! as Ms Fanciful says...

Wonderful! I love the color too. I was thinking of painting my daughter's room that shade and now I think it's an even better idea after seeing your studio walls. Thanks for the inspiration and wonderful photos of your new space.

It has been worth the wait to see so I can only imagine the feeling of taking up residence inside. I am swooning and inspired and feeling all smooshy for you...you deserve this space....the sounds from the outside to the glory of the inside. The color, the shelving, the lighting, the windows...the placement of work spaces. It's all so perfect.
Congratulations on your Mango Studio....I can only hope we get mine done and it's half as delish as this is! WOW!
XOXOXO

well
clearly i have found
my little corner ~here~
as i want to lean against the oil cloth
and look
up
at the mango-mango deliciousness
of it all.
:-)
melly napping on the floor
and giraffes dancing near the ceiling...
i heart it all, missy.
if Dwell does not show up,
shame on them!
looks like The New Studio is big enough
and inviting enough (!!!)
to host workshops and art shows
which
i hope you will feature here.
{{ why,
i feel certain that you will }}
say, are those some tin birds
hanging
in your window?
----->this space is so wonderfully you<----

It looks fabulous, Steph. You must feel so energized to get into the creative process. Everything in it's perfect place, including Melly!
The only thing I'd ditch is the "real life" workplace.....:-)
Yes, PERFECT!!!!

WOW, that is one beautiful art space, love the mango and all the touches of blue. I know you will be most creative and happy there. The metal cabinet I seem to remember from my childhood, maybe my Mom had one, it is wonderful.
Enjoy yourself!!!
