I am using Rebecca's post title for Postcards today...as I have been traveling back and forth lately..on the edge, between here and the city of my birth. Before leaving today Tess and I walked briefly along the painted dikes that line the Arkansas river.
My brother started this huge mural project in the early 80's...I'm sure having no idea that his early morning forays, laying down some paint before the police caught them, their 'tag' then....tee hee,

enjoyed seeing some of your "geography"
that was quite a project your brother was into! how many artists were involved? and how is Dad doing?. progressing well I hope! fingers crossed!

Stephanie,
I LOVE this urban project and knowing that your brother was the "instigator" of what has now come to be known as "urban art." That last sunset over the city is one of the most splendid I have every seen. Superb!

Ah, finding moments of grace when I can. I love that phrase and your brother's murals on the river are beautiful art.

Thank you for making it sound like I actually got OUT of the car...instead of what I was really doing...shoving my face with carmel corn:)
