Stephanie, your journal page is awesome and beautiful. I love citrus slices in paintings. They sorta look like wagon wheels.

I am so happy I found your blog. It brings light, color and happiness into my life. Your sketch is fabulous and ties it all together like a crisp red bow.....smiles: sharon

My amaryllis came up too fast. It was here and gone before Christmas! Nice to meet you!

I bet your Amarillys is going to be stunning!
In striving to be open to seeing the miracle of blessings is how I'm finding joy this winter.
Have a great day.

The drying citrus slices are stunning, both in the window and in your journal. Yup, it brought joy to me, as well!

The citrus slices are a wonderful idea to brighten winter... natural sun catchers. The red amarillys has a wonderfully rich, ruby color...mmm... At the moment I am finding much JOY in using illuminating, metallic paints, shine-shiny days are spirit lifting just now, and tonight is date night for hubby & I--that's pretty joyful too. ;o) Happy weekend, Stephanie ((HUGS))

Stephanie - I find joy in reading your blog and the $2 I paid for two bags of Meyer lemons. My house looks like a florist shop with all the bulbs trying to bloom plus the left over pointsettas I can't pitch yet. I'll try slicing some citrus for drying. Thanx for the idea. xox Toni in Denver

slices!! yummmmm. I am having slices of oranges in bowls all winter. Just too good for munching.

I mean, they didn't run away, so I had to slice them. I didn't mean anything by it.

Your slices are so cool.
