Home again...and catching up. I am filled with warmth and inspiration from time spent in a culture I love shared with friends I love...old ones and new ones....Rebecca, the Patron Saint of travel, enabled long time blog friends, this one and this one, to gather together... to dance, to cry, to celebrate.
So much to process...the folkart, the people who create this amazing work, opportunities to meet and get to know so many...
the women of Augustin Gonzales...so happy to share their beautiful hooked rugs with us, share works in progress as well as an array of completed work...
their colorful rugs and bags hung from clothes lines...I brought home a few...inspired by their happy simple forms
and I need to get busy because we have less than 2 weeks before our Pop Up Art event...
I found another reason to love this blog...I lost a LOT of photos in my hard drive crash and am trying to get a cloud type backup in place, easier said than done. I realize I have 6 years of images, stories, friends here on my blog and am so grateful for that in so many ways.

I, too, am glad you are home safe but unsound! the weather man says its your turn this week! good luck ! we lost power for 2 hrs. in the nite and had a pile of snow which is melting fast. other places not so lucky. my son in law has finally allowed that we are having a spell of climate change! stay warm and safe!at work today
