« Ever so Thankful |
| Postcards from San Miguel »
A lovely day, a walkabout in the morning light, just me and seedpods, milkweed and birdsong, then the family gathered around the table.
spf's words that resonate so strongly...
I am grateful every damn day
we gathered together
after the food's put away
the feeling remains

Yes... the feelings remain, every day Steph, not just one. I am thinking how this beautiful milkweed pod is the winter of the abutilon flower that you took in La Gruta hot springs... oh life is so poignant and so beautiful. Love you dearly, today and always.

we are All so fortunate
to have loved ones
who love us back,
to have homes that Wait
we leave them
to journey around the world
then on back to our houses
waiting for our love...
I am grateful every damn day
so are you
i know neither one of us
show up where we are
and Remind us
they Remind us }}

something about a worn brown seed pod opening to let fly pure white glory.
i love you steph and your sweet family. i am so grateful we have sat close at many a table to share the love of friendship and life itself.
i sit it in warmth of your afterglow...

The afterglow is, perhaps, the most important part of the feast!
