A lovely day, a walkabout in the morning light, just me and seedpods, milkweed and birdsong, then the family gathered around the table.
spf's words that resonate so strongly...
I am grateful every damn day
indeed...
we gathered together
after the food's put away
the feeling remains

indeed the feeling remains, and for THIS I am grateful... and for new feelings that arise as well:-)

Yes... the feelings remain, every day Steph, not just one. I am thinking how this beautiful milkweed pod is the winter of the abutilon flower that you took in La Gruta hot springs... oh life is so poignant and so beautiful. Love you dearly, today and always.

{{ yes
yes
yes
we are All so fortunate
Here
to have loved ones
who love us back,
to have homes that Wait
whilst
we leave them
empty
to journey around the world
and
then on back to our houses
our gardens
our pets
waiting for our love...
I am grateful every damn day
and
so are you
and
i know neither one of us
will ever
forget
this,
as butterflies
show up where we are
and Remind us
everywhere
they Remind us }}

The afterglow is, perhaps, the most important part of the feast!
