I am touched that she was created by a Cuban artists. After hearing of five churches ordered destroyed by Castro, I am reminded that as long as such a beautiful and creative spirit exists in us, God will always be there. His houses are not His home; our hearts are His home.

I just love this mosaic. You say the artist is Cuban. Is this art piece in Cuba, or here in the U.S.? I have a visit to Cuba on my bucket list. Have you been?

A Year of Gratitude

2016 is a potent year for me...sweet '16, it is my 60th year and since I made the decision to keep this blog going for at least another year I am going to use this as a daily gratitude practice. If you choose to visit and perhaps leave a comment I am grateful for that too.
