a natural progression...the years of Monarch myth and lore
the importance of the milkweed to the caterpillar
grateful for the inspiration to push in this direction
a tidy package
holding within seeds for life
attracting the stripes
Haiku my Heart
first they gathered, fresh, together
then they organized, stitched words and intent
into their final form...now they will live on the University of Colorado campus, how grateful am I for that!
flying off...set free
to spread their message beyond
out into the world
Haiku my heart
the inside...coming out
Greg is doing so well, dinner out for the first time since his surgery
inside coming out...
on the heals of another storm
slowly on the mend
grateful for Greg's mending, hoping the coming storm doesn't slow him down
just bone tired...making this post Thursday evening to post on Friday
a long day in the hospital...Greg's surgery seemed to go well
time will tell
likely won't need it, but, I am grateful for my sleepytime extra tea...
sending healing thoughts
as I drift to sleep tonight
Haiku my heART
surrounded by soft
stillness, of fat floating flakes...
muted black and white
hello and happy new year haiku my heart!
summer is more than a few passing months...it's a state of mind,
it seems to have more importance in many ways than other seasons,
maybe the memories of summer vacation from school, a visceral shift
a different sense of time
fills all the senses...
languid as bees in pollen
sum sum summertime
haiku my heart!
reflecting on the past year...so much to savor, lots to build on...challenges, sure...but happy to be here, now
reflect on the yearsavoring the here...and now
mapping the future
Haiku my heart, bringing me to the table
blue sky day and fresh white snow
let the new year begin
blue sky, fresh white snow
crisp air ringing in the new
sweet and dazzling
Haiku my heart into the new year
our holiday tradition...the festivities and lights of Christmas downtown...it snowed, right on cue
a lovey relaxing afternoon and dinner at casa T & P... the Imitation Game at the historic Mayan theater
we take in the lights on a walk back to the casa through gently falling snow...
in the morning, the snow is still falling and we walk past holiday windows for breakfast at the newly restored Union Station
stunning...shops, restaurants and a luxurious space to wait for your train
a walk to the state capitol building...up and up to the very top of the dome and 360 degree views of the city
a season of JOYa reason to be grateful
sending love to all
lighting the hannukah candles, bringing their warm (beeswax) honey glow to the ever earlier darkness
savoring this glow
heading into the solstice
tipping toward the light
sharing Haiku my heart
Here I am.
