Many JOYfull thanks to all the beautiful comments I received on my dad's passing.  Before the memorial I led a small journal making class and found much JOY in this.  I made this one for my sister...

we spent hours cutting up boxes...

collaging images...binding pages.

all the citrus love from Rebecca and eb got me going...perhaps it's a high altitude thing...but most of mine burned...

what a sweet surprise though to cut into one orange and find a blood red interior...

and the orange against the steel blue/gray sky...lovely
