Odd weather...the warmest, driest March on record, flowering trees in full bloom!...April 1st record breaking heat...April 2nd very cool, OK COLD!
I keep it warm and spring like in the Mango Studio...no matter what's going on outside.

into the house...our new 'room', found space. These old houses are so very lacking in storage space. We are so happy with this new space, my gran niche...lots of storage hidden behind the hutch, a new wall to hang art, a place to stash coats and hats, scarves and gloves.
a question to me by our friend who did the work..."are you sure, tangerine walls and a tomato red floor?"

Last week...in the calm after the first snow storm and waiting for the next...
I was putting the pots to bed for the winter and gathered what was left of this and that.
Outside the studio door...on the edge of this season, moving quickly to the next...
one last flower mandala...that lingered but for a few days.

My brother was here on his way to CA...to find work among his art friends...a new life adventure

We enjoyed a quiet weekend...
and for the next several weeks will be taking care of his sweet pup, Aristotle...who is slowly warming up to Olive...
I will be posting pics of Aristotle's visit often so Bruce can check in on his best friend.
The first day of the Chinese New Year...the year of the rabbit, and the temps finally warm enough for fat snow flakes to begin to fall.

home from a walk...the shadows longer, and one that is still drawn to that envelope...
you can only imagine the sound of two pugs sleeping...
They came with boxes, found objects to share and open minds.
We had our first class in the Mango Studio.....some exploration with Shrine making

Things are heating up over here in the Mango Studio...getting ready for the upcoming EBCA studio tour. Mr R is cleaning up the yard, fountain is turned on, bringing birds to drink in front of my window.
