ahhh Michelle Ward's challenge this month....make a journaling kit, open Pandora's box. This girl...and ALL you all (no, but I have a friend from the south, it rubs off) are such a huge inspiration to me! See....I have always had sketchbooks...
remember those old AmArt black journals...well I dug a couple out and thought I'd share the 'old' me with you...
see the date??? yea, the 'old' me....
I drew.....
I sketched...
I planned big projects...
I doodled...
but YOU guys inspired me to journal! So now, I'm going to put together my traveling journaling kit...I shall hunt and gather all the necessary tools and when it's all together I'll share.....I'll pack it along...I'll continue the journey....
steph - how cool to see these old journals. i say old, with love, as they are hardly relics yet, but merely evidence of an artful past. looking forward to seeing your 'kit'. thanks for sharing these pages with the team...we LOVE to see pages too. that shell is fab, and another page almost looks like you're about to compete with Christo :)

Lots o texture here, and I love it! I love drawings and sketches that move, that look alive. The whole journal, in fact, looks alive. In a good way!

oo, WHAT???
Little oil cloth bags....?
anyway...these journal pages are what journaling is all about. It's so great to look at the image and remember time, place, circumstance. I have written journals from long ago, but oh, how I wish that I had found my visual voice.
Well done Steph!!!!
