Journaling the paper mache hand, the concept, still gelling.....a continuation of the Snow Queen story...
adding color to explore more henna hands....rummaging through Tess's room to find....
the perfect tin for my traveling journaling kit for Michelle's GPP Street Team challenge. It contains the gel pens I like to use, caran d'ache crayons (must have those) scissors (better find some travel scissors), glue stick.....some glitter glue. Gathering words that I'll be using....see, I'll be needing this kit when we travel to Tess's college graduation in June. COLLEGE graduation...what??? how did THAT happen??
It will fit perfectly in my big bag and there's plenty of room for that Kleenex that I'll be needing too.
Oh Stephanie... these hands are amazing! I love what you are doing with them!!! And these travel journal box kits... are treasures!
June will be here very soon... and there you will be... journal kit and kleenex for a very special event indeed...
Thank you so for this beauty!!!
XO

what great hands!
but listen...
i was just over at jills/follow your bliss,
looking at her little travel suitcase
and
i said,
~~girl, you better have some *red*glitter*glue* in that bag~~
and then i pop over here
and WHAT do you have in your to-go kit?
what??
yes!!
!!
*red*glitter*glue*
that is what i am talking about...
no matter how old your daughter is,
graduating from kindergarten
or college,
you know things will be OK in the world
when you have *red*glitter*glue* in your bag,
or at least,
that is how i feel about it.

steph - love the hands!!! fun to see them transformed from dimension to page. i want to reach out and touch one, and place in it a rose petal, and the other i want to high five :) great little kit with all the essentials like that SHARPIE - it looks so wide - does that mean it has a big fat tip too? cool! thanks for sharing all this inspiration with the team!!
graduation from COLLEGE? didn't it seem like you were wearing the black gown just yesterday??? congrats!

What a great page!..NOW I see what's happening with that once-glass hand form that you "transformed" so beautifully.
Great kit. Looks like you could create books and books with those essentials. I'll remind you about the kleenex when the time comes.
Great post, as usual!

Fabulous, fabulous journal pages...I really love the hands! And that little kit is just wonderful too!
It reminds me that I have painted imprints of my hands somewhere...I may just have to stick them in my journal now (if I can find them!)
