This is one of my favorite seasons, a long fall....no snow, I'd be happy if it never snowed. It could go from fall to spring to summer to fall to.....
Crunching through leaves...golden and brown and ruddy....
the reds starting...just barely....
Quaking Aspen color from 30,000 feet
I'm gathering....for the upcoming Dia de los Muertos...
AND, be sure to come by here on Monday as Susanna and I have something up our sleeves that we hope you'll join us in.
Have a great weekend!
absolutely stunning...(aspens below) I love marigolds and can't wait to see your future posts!

I think your pictures are beautiful! I am going to stay a while so I can jump and play in the leaves. I hope that's okay. ; )

Such beautiful pictures as usual! I wish we had some changing of the leaves over here in San Diego....

Oh yes, Fall to Spring to Fall to Spring....how ideal would that be? We are still awaiting the colors that Empress Autumn dons this time of year....I feel she is readying to show her grandeur very soon. I am gathering decor to make it Autumn inside around my home....in anticipation of it outside.
Ah, what are you cooking up? I am feeling great anticipation as I KNOW it will be nothing less than fabulous!
XOXOXO

i have to disagree- i wouldn't want to skip the snow. it's perhaps because i lived in texas and saudi arabia all my life- but i know you guys have the most beautifal falls there- that for sure must make up for the winter. BIGLOVE to you-can't wait to see what you have in store for monday!

oh the aspen... i remember the aspen. things dont change so quickly around here. we did get a bit of rain the other day which I am still relishing; but back into the 80's and 90's by the middle of the week. it was an early rain for these parts - we usually dont get some until the end of october

That photo of aspen from above the earth is amazing. I'd also be happy to skip winter - most of it anyway. We could have winter in December, one or two snowfalls for the holidays and then just move straight on into thaw and an early spring in January. Yep, sounds good to me.
