They came with boxes, found objects to share and open minds.
We had our first class in the Mango Studio.....some exploration with Shrine making
we got messy with paper and mod podge...
and spraying paint
Maya and her Forrest Goddess Shrine
Cath's 'Let there be (Miller) Lite'......surrogate chicken and her very big blue egg shrine
and Ginny getting loose and messy with paper collage.
Look for the first FAC in the Mango Studio, June 19th, where among art and wine we will show the classes finished shrines.
Looking forward to seeing your students' work, Steph! This looks like a colorful journey with lots of beautiful destinations.

Looks like great fun. The ladies are enjoying themselves and that is whats important. Have a great weekend. I like the shrine idea, looks easy enough but I haven't tried it yet.

I was JUST in my studio working on new things for the First FAC in the Mango Studio!
I love the name: Mango Studio.
Mine would more likely be Mangled Studio.

Oh, wow. I'm JEALOUS!! But in a good way. LOVE cigar box adventure, and these shrines are handsome. Congrats on your first class! Now I'm off to look for your list of classes so I can drive over there.
(My partner's last name is Miller and it's always Miller time! HA!)
