What is this you say? In the light of so many scorching days here and Seth's Buried Treasure event I thought it would do me good to remember that it will not always be this way...remind me when I am whining about the cold please....
Snow on Sunday....and bitter cold temps, but the abundance of beauty was awe inspiring
and words from yoga practice....resonating
contraction and expansion
contract into the possibility of great expansion
I always like to read books about very cold weather in the heat of summer, and vice versa.
Looking at the pics -- even better. :-)
It's been hot here, too, but (knocking on wood!) not horrible.......
On my way to go hang out the wash..... Hot weather is good for something! :-)

This is one very intriguing post you picked. The photos are so gripping in their abstract. Great photography Steph and thoughtful words to match.

And yes I will remind you when you whine about the cold.

I loved your pictures of milkweed - brought to my mind memories of growing up in the NJ countryside surrounded by wild things.
And it IS hot... here in NC we've had heat indexes in the triple digits. I say, "bring on the cold". I promise not to whine (too much) about it.

Hey, I don't remember seeing this one! WHAT a picture of that icicle!
So, you're saying So. Cal isn't the only area that's scorching?

wait. that's not an icicle! it's fibers? wow. you've used these in your work? are they big?
no more questions at this time...
