I have to admit that I came and sneaked a peek of your blog today while I was still at work, and I was very intrigued by this commission, especially since I just finished one too. I just had to come back and comment on it. I know that this couple was thrilled to have this beautiful. personal piece to help them remember wedding day.
My greatest joy comes from creating a mixed media painting over layers of personal ephemera. I now understand why I was a miserable failure as a commercial art student. My work lacked the one thing I needed to be inspired: love.
Thankfully, just today a new grandmother asked me to create an original painting for her first grandchild's room! How blessed am I?
P.S. Thank you so much for your help on my much-needed blog redo.
