We ushered in the vernal equinox with the Capistrano Bird show at Rabid Rabits...this is a time of balance, equal time of light and dark.
It feels as if the world is tipping more darkly....but it felt good to renew our energies...together...
with bird imagery...
in many different media...
and take a few moments to celebrate the good
we will open our hearts to the world again but it was lovely to savor the beauty for a moment.
Hello Steph!
Thank you for sharing your day of finding balance in the Capistrano Bird Show! In each work of art there is beauty. I think birds have something spiritual about them.
Also, do you know about the Monarch butterfly at Mission San Juan Capistrano? It's really something!

Thank you for including a piece of my work in your blog. It is an inspiring show and makes me want to go out and do more birds. I heard my first meadow lark of the season this am and that adds to the inspiration.

As someone who MUST have birds somewhere, somehow in my art I love these birds in all their forms. I'd want them all! You are so lucky to have access to so many artisic ventures and celebrations.
thinking of you, it's been awhile!

All of these beautiful birds make my heart sing too. But spring seems as if might never get here. It has been snowing all week... roxanne
