After watching a demo by artist friend Don Sayers...I have been finding great JOY in painting chickens. Oh yes, a diversion, but a happy one...
chickens on plaster, water color paper,
red rosin paper...whatever I have on hand...
colorFULL chicken
summer bird who cannot fly
delivers the goods
how are you finding JOY this week?
Love your chickens Stephanie. I too started chicken paintings a while back and who knows where they are at. Great work!! love the color. Have a wonderful weekend.

I love these rooster-roos! Beautiful combs and eyes. Lovely colors. You really do them justice. You always see chickens or hens in farm kitchens (not real ones) so these watercolors, rosin and plaster fowl are just the thing to brighten up your culinary environment. I love them!!

Big happy grin here. No chickens in the 'burbs of L.A., but sure remember them from childhood--and from Kauai each time I visit there.

exciting expression with attitude and charm... the colors lure one in and then upon a closer view one sees a subtly of the eyes... hello
