Put your walking shoes on and follow me on a whirlwind tour of Santa Fe...every street corner offers lovely old doors set in beautiful adobe walls.
grab a quick cup of coffee before walking on...
and this gem of a chocolate shop, think Chocolat with a decidedly Mexican vision ...Todos Santos
Jumping fish welcome us to the convention center, the location of the SOFA exhibit, of the Sculptural Objects and Functional Art type, not the over stuffed.
We'll pass by many a mission and Our Lady of Guadalupe church
as well as reminders of the importance of creativity
getting tired? we'll head back to our casita for a brief rest and a glass of wine. If you are planning a trip to Santa Fe I would highly recommend one of the Two Casitas properties...we stayed at another of their properties on a previous visit.
We drove our car to Santa Fe...parked at our casita and didn't get back into it until we were ready to leave, a great way to experience a place.
Discover new worlds
open your eyes to wonder
soak up the goodness...
more Haiku my heart...
YES to your haiku!!! And yes to your fab photos of Santa Fe. The air just feels different there, don't you think? Adore that car. How creative!

Stephanie,
I lived in Santa Fe for over a year. My sister and nephew and his wife still live there. It is a wonderful place and I recognized many of the sites on your blog. Beautiful images and it sounds like you had a glorious time. I always do when I go back to visit!

I remember visiting SF for a day almost 40 years ago. I've always wanted to go back. Now that time is my own, it will happen. Two Casitas looks like a lovely place to stay and I like the Jan/Feb time period.
