the floor and tabletop is cluttered with scraps
from the making of scrappy birds
thus is born little scrappy quilt studies..leave nothing to waste
Here I am.
love those scrappy quilts they'd be great on the lid of a box! I've been covering the lids of cigar boxes with a variety of things buttosn, shells, lrtters - a few scrappy ones would be good too! we have a place to get them free and they are good for storing small art supplies! . I'll have to check the scrap "basket"!! thanks for the thought!

I almost teared up. In the eye department. Do you know how much I love it when scraps become mosaicky goodness? No? One of my favorite things is paper mosaic. And stitching it is even better! Just think of how you can use those for MORE scrappy birds! Or scan them for collage sheets! Or make journal covers! Or frames for pictures! Or origami boxes!
You can see why I got a bit weepy...
