a labor of love for the past couple of months
Sacred elements of Dia de los Muertos
Our Lady...to hang our wishes for miracles, for our souls, for our physical beings...for our world
The monarchs that carry the souls of our loved ones on their breath, the sugar skulls making sweet our memories of those passed and the marigold, the color of fire and our passions.
My installation for Sacred Spaces at Rabid Rabits Galeria, opening reception Friday, Sept. 13th
Stephanie! I'm so glad I am back to see this. It is touching and so moving to me now. What an accomplishment, a coming together, healing, and honoring.

Stephanie, this is wonderful, it reminds me a little of when I was at college, I loved the work of Caroline Broadhead, the illusive other worldly quality. I would love it if you could attach a butterfly for me...
Have a lovely day on the 13th! x

breathtaking and so inspirational! I would love to know more about the exhibition - a ritual and celebration of healing is Dia de los muertas - one which is completely unknown here in the southern tip of Africa, but which I have learnt much about from your blogs
