Another Dia de los Muertos opening tonight at Bella Frida in Louisville...and next Friday, in Longmont with a bus that will take you to all the festivities downtown, the new Roosevelt studios and the Museum...
I went back the Museum to really look at the photos and altars without the crowds. This exhibit is getting my really excited for our upcoming trip to Oaxaca to experience dia de los muertos there.
my altar is a non-traditional piece that incorporates all the elements of a traditional altar, I am so very happy with how the Art of Remembering turned out and how she has been received.
there are traditional altars, altars honoring family members, altars done by students...all so very beautiful.
I'm off to put my Catrina face on and will be back to share images from tonights festivities
great to see how the exhibits looked in place! when are you going to mexico? I'll get in your suitcase!
