a new work...Migration of Soul...
more Monarchs, layered and stamped and painted and waxed
the conversation between life and death, spirit and soul
expresses how we as people use myth and imagination to transcend loss and accept what cannot be truly known
This movement between the planes of life and death...are interweaving moments from one to the other as an expression of the wish to connect with our loved ones in a continuum of the soul and breath
the need to photograph this piece led to me looking at my studio wall, in real need of patching and the thought that a white wall may be beneficial for display and photography
the results...
feels like a breath of spring in here
Wow it looks awesome with the white. I haven't been in my studio for a very long time. Love what you are doing. Have a great week Stephanie. Take care.

I love this Migration of the Soul, using Monarchs to portray it. Awesome idea, wonderful work. Studio wall looks better, too!
