Bloomin'

I just enjoy painting these flowers...they are not socially relevant, political or thought provoking...

but they bring me joy, and that is enough

A few years ago I was interviewed by an Art Critique from NYC. He kept asking all sort of questions about my conceptual work, finally he asked me were I had completed my undergraduate work. When I told him The Art Center in LA he responded " That explains it! West Coast Artist tend to paint for the pure joy of the process, where as NYC artists tend to be making statements."
That explains everything. Just love your flowers!
