I've had a busy end of the summer, a long extended fall here...filling my visual well in the east and west
sharing a quick couple of days in NYC
the Picasso Sculpture exhibit at MoMA...a huge body of work from 1914 - 1964,
from MoMA: Picasso Sculpture focuses on the artist’s lifelong work with sculpture, with a particular focus on his use of materials and processes. The exhibition, which features more than 100 sculptures, complemented by selected works on paper and photographs, aims to advance the understanding of what sculpture was for Picasso, and of how he revolutionized its history through a lifelong commitment to constant reinvention.

I walked for miles and miles and miles and miles...
and a stop at ABC Carpet and Home with Elizabeth...a treat on so many levels...everything in this place is a visual delight and attention to detail...beautiful art, clothing, home furnishing, each display with a perfect fresh flower and sand painted element. We had the good fortune to meet the young woman who heads the design team, what a fun job and what beauty she creates.
