my Goddess of our Ancestors
I am joining rebecca in celebrating her 12 days of Mary love...
everyone is invited.
while this is not about religion, it is about sharing,
opening hearts, rejoicing in ultimate mother love.
it is about light, compassion, inspiration,
and the sweet chance to begin each day together
in beauty and peace
May the nourishment of the earth be yours,
May the clarity of light be yours,
May the fluency of the ocean be yours,
May the protection of the ancestors be yours.
And so may a slow
Wind work these words
Of love around you,
An invisible cloak
To mind your life.

This is really an awesome post, Gillena. That Goddess of the ancestors is truly an amazing installation. Nice!

Such a beautiful representation of the unbreakable bond of our present with our loved ones of our past. They are like guardian angels all around us.

What a gorgeous and unique installation piece this is. How big is it and what does it look like when it isn't cropped. This kind of creation could be lovely on my Day of the Dead altar. And John O'Donohue always says exactly what I need to read today. Thanks.

She was the First and the Last. a wonderful installation of healing and honouring. Do you know the book The Girl God? I came across it today - have only seen it on the net but it looks beautiful
