With fresh snow on the ground and figid temps...Katy's studio was a warm and welcome stop....
we spent the day setting everything up...

The opening was a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.

A tree full of Goddesses...ready for their debut at the Holiday Sale at Katy's Studio this Friday.

on a salvaged tree branch from our Pear tree...most of which did not survive the snow storm of a few weeks ago.

Monarch images are flying across many a surface in the Mango Studio...

The images keep coming...keeping me up at night. The 4th generation of the Monarch butterfly is known as the Methuselah generation since they will travel over 2000 miles and live 6 - 8 months (as opposed to the 4 - 6 weeks of the other generations) to get to the overwintering sanctuaries in Mexico...Methuselah was a Hebrew patriarch who was supposed to have lived for 969 years and is commonly used to refer to any living thing reaching great age.
If you are able to come to our Holiday Sale the weekend of Dec 3rd I will have an entire body of work dedicated to these magical creatures.
