a commitment to paint our way into the new year...we began doing this 3 years ago and it opened us all up to new creativity and artful discussion
this animal emerged from my paint surrounded by guardian ravens
Patti's start to a series of chair paintings...
and Katy's rabbit bounding into the deep blue dusk
Our weekly painting parties will be expanding
to an empty store front near you...
Charlotte giving up brushes completely
watch our new website, www.LongmontPopUpArt.com or click on the link to the left for information on how you can join us...
something will happen...the week of November 16th...
Patti layering it on
JOYous...you bet!
of painting these bright blooms
call lilies like white hot flames
and we paint...week after week
our answer to the paint and sip craze
Another week of postcards from paradise
Please don't forget...if you are in town, stop by the Museum and vote for me! You have until June 12th, don't delay, vote today!
We are having no fun at all...painting together...
the paintings keep coming...we're looking to have a pop up gallery (impromptu art shows that spring up in empty commercial/retail spaces) show/party this summer
where we'll share all our colorful creations...
that are growing and multiplying...
this is my paradise...more postacards from paradise
This has become a habit...meeting here in the blue dusk
to paint the colors of the day
in a swirl of connectedness...
we raise our glasses
to the shared bonds and warm glow
of connectedness...
more Haiku my heart at Recuerda mi Corazon
It's fun...it's theraputic...it's just what the doctor ordered...
painting once a week with the girls
if it doesn't work out....you paint over it...like I did with this one.
And then we got snow...in a big way!
Melly liked playing in it...Olive not so much.
white stuff still falling
warm saturated color
a winter contrast
I would highly recommend...gathering some friends to play with paint...
some of us were out of town...
some had other commitments...but Char and I spent a couple hours together...painting
Char's beautiful couple that echo and compliment her sculpture
I was painting big poppy seed pods on red rosin paper that remind me of a little family...
this is a new year's resolution we won't break.
Here I am.
